Bharat Mandir Travel Guide

The holy shrine is the most ancient place which is dedicated to lord Vishnu and was established in the 8th century by Adiguru Shankaracharya. According to myth, the five Pandavas along with Draupadi visited the place on their way to heavan. It is believed that city's existence came into being with this temple only. One can visit the Museum in the premises, containing sculptures, pottery and decorated bricks found in the temple premises during excavation which has recently been established in the temple.
