Nahargarh Fort Travel Guide

The mesmerizing fort that offers birds-eye view of the city was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1734 and was used as a retreat for the ladies. The whole palace is a glorious depiction of Rajputana art with beautiful fresco interiors. Another attraction in the fort is the 'Madhavendra Bhawan' which is a two-storey building having suites for the king and his twelve queens.
