National Rail Museum Travel Guide

A paradise for train buffs, the National Rail Museum celebrates the rail heritage of India that displays the fabulous collection of Indian rail exhibits. The museum has over 100 life size exhibits of trains belonging to the Indian Railways. It also contains working and stationary models of trains, equipment used to signal to trains, historical photographs and reading material related to the railways. Apart from enjoying the locomotives on display, one can also enjoy a joy ride on the monorail and boating as well. Among the royal coaches on display is the Prince of Wales Saloon, the Maharaja of Mysore’s Saloon, and the Maharaja of Baroda’s saloon.
