Located in Delhi, the National Science Centre is basically the unit of National Council of Science Museums (NCSM). NCSM is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture of the Government of India. The renowned institute is engaged in making the science popular amongst the people of Northern India and mainly the students across the nation. Their main aim is to put in loads of efforts to achieve scientific literacy in the country, to inculcate Scientific Awareness & Scientific Temper and to preserve the Science & Technology Heritage of the country. Constructed in 8 floors, this museum houses a working science exhibition as well as exhibits that depicts the history of science.
