Nizamuddin Dargah Travel Guide

The Nizamuddin Dargah, located in close proximity to Humayun's Tomb, is the tomb of a popular sufi saint of the Chishtiya order – Sheikh Nizam-ud-Din Aulia. The tomb is placed in the inner sactum and surroundings are dotted with marble rail and are topped with a canopy of pearls. The Nizamuddin Dargah is frequently visted by stream of people from all sects, be it muslims, hindus, christians and people of other faiths as well. The Nizamuddin Dargah is also popular for the quawalli musical performances which take place there every Thursdays and Sundays. The song Kun Faya Kun from the film Rockstar, starring Ranbir Kapoor was shot in the Nizamuddin Dargah.
